Friends or guy?

this guy that i like is like 1 year younger than me but we like each other. he has asked me 2 b his gurl a lot of times but i usually say no cuz i dont kow what people might say[who m i kidding? they will probably say 'hey isnt he younger than she is???'] and im afraid 2 say yes. Also i think he's kind of a player but ever1 deserves a chance right? i dont know what 2 do plz help me!
