Scion TC owners, how is the gas mileage of your car (city mostly)? Do you prefer 2007 or 2008 model & why?

I am looking into purchasing one soon but am unsure if the 2008 model is worth a couple extra thousand. From what I have seen, the 2007 & 2008's are still pretty similar in price. In your opinion, which is the better model? Tell me about some features and gas mileage. Thanks!
