I have a 1998 isuzu rodeo that idles high i have replaced the idle air control motor and throttle body gasket?

anyways my mechanic is unsure of the problem he is resetting my computer does any one know what might could possibly causing this problem? i am down 500.00 and need not to keep sinking myself, thanks
